Hello, and welcome to our Classroom Site! Included on this site is information about upcoming assignments, due dates, procedures for turning in assignments, and rubrics for assignments/tests/projects. There are also supplementary resources for each unit so that students can study at home. Many of the questions you may have regarding P.E can be answered by reviewing the material on this site. If you have any questions, I invite you to look through the material with your student. If you should have further questions after FULLY reviewing the site, please feel free to email me. As the year progresses, a few changes may be made to classroom "norms" and procedures. However, everything will always be documented on this site under the "Announcements" tab. A few points of interest that may answer some initial questions include:
1. No late assignments will be accepted unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances (unless otherwise announced)
2. Students are responsible for logging into this site to view all announcements and upcoming assignments - especially when absent
3. Students are responsible for coming to me to turn in assignments, or take tests, if they were absent on the day of the assignment due-date or test
4. All students should consider bringing water bottles to class each day to stay hydrated!
5. Each student and parent should read our Department Syllabus under the "Resources" tab to get more detailed information about our Physical Education program at Vista Magnet Middle School. Go Vipers!
6. Before completing all Writing Reflections students should view the Formatting Procedure and Self Assessment Rubric under the "Resources" tab. No assignments will be accepted online. They should be completed in the student's P.E Notebook.
